Simon Thorpe, Director
Simon established Thorpe Building Consultancy in 2020 and has over 20 years’ experience in the property sector. Simon has held roles of Director and Regional Director of National & International Consultancies for 15 years. Simon has extensive knowledge in all service lines of Building Surveying within the commercial and public sectors.
Andrew Nilsen, Director
Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in both public and private sectors, and joined Thorpe Building Consultancy in August 2021. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team specialising in project management and contract administration, detailed design and specification writing and undertaking Principal Designer duties. Andrew had previously worked for a large national practice where he held the role of Associate Director.
Joel MacDonald, Associate Director
Joel has over 20 years’ experience in the public and private sectors within South & West Wales, and joined Thorpe Building Consultancy in October 2021. Joel brings further experience to the team in Landlord & Tenant and Project Management service lines, and will be focusing on serving both existing and new clients in the Swansea market, where he has spent his career to date. Joel has previously worked for a large national practice and more recently, a local practice in Swansea where he held the role of Associate Director.
